National White Truffle Fair of Acqualgna

The White Truffle Fair takes place in Acqualagna on 26 October, 1/2 November and 8/9 November 2008 and its the best moment to taste the white truffle directly in the area of production.

In all seasons you may taste fresh truffle in restaurants around Villa Fontalba or we may provide you a special dinner in our relais.

The truffle calendar (link in italian only):

• White Truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico from 1 october to 31 december)
• Black Truffle (Tuber Melanosporum from 1 december to 15 march)
• Bianchetto Truffle ‘marzuolo’ (Tuber Borchii Vitt o Tuber Albidum Pico dal 15 gennaio al 30 aprile)
  
• Summer Truffle ‘scorzone’ (Tuber Aestivum Vitt. dal 1 maggio al 31 dicembre.)
